Abstract: This research aims to explore contemporary Arab critical experience in studying ancient Arab narratives, selecting the experience of Algerian critic Ibrahim Sahraoui as a pioneering model. Sahraoui provides an interactive and critical reading of ancient Arab narrative texts, highlighting various aspects of traditional texts in a modern context. The study concludes the importance of interaction between modern criticism and literary heritage, utilizing advanced analytical methodologies to understand ancient narratives, and shedding light on unfamiliar aspects of old texts.
