Résumé Le pouvoir exécutif, représenté par le Président de la République, participe désormais à la production normative à travers les prérogatives législatives qui lui sont conférées par la Constitution. Il partage ainsi la compétence législative avec le pouvoir législatif, aussi bien dans les circonstances ordinaires que dans les situations exceptionnelles. Compte tenu de l'importance et de la sensibilité de cette prérogative, le constituant l'a encadrée par un ensemble de conditions et de procédures, tout en la soumettant au contrôle de plusieurs institutions. Cette orientation a été consacrée par la révision constitutionnelle de 2020. Abstract The executive branch, represented by the President of the Republic, has become involved in the law-making process through the legislative powers granted to it by the Constitution. It therefore shares legislative authority with the legislative branch, both under ordinary circumstances and in exceptional situations. Given the significance and sensitivity of this prerogative, the constitutional framers have subjected it to a set of conditions and procedures, while also placing it under the supervision of various institutions.
