Des essais du Jar-Test a été réalisé au niveau de laboratoire de la station de traitement Hammam Boughrara afin de déterminer les paramètres optimales de la coagulation-floculation tel que (la température, la dose de coagulant, dose du floculant, pH, la vitesse et le temps du mélange rapide) Une concentration du chitosane de 50 mg/l à la température 25°C et un pH de 7.75 avec une vitesse de mélange rapide de 200 tr/min à 3min; et une dose de floculant de 3mg/l est donne un rendement d’élimination maximale de la turbidité (53.53%) et une valeur du phosphate baisse de 1.25 à 0.95 mg/l après coagulation-floculation des eaux du barrage Hammam Boughrara. Abstract: The main goal of this research is the study of coagulation-flocculation by a natural coagulant (chitosan) for the removal of phosphate (PO₄³⁻) and turbidity from Hammam Boughrara dam water.
