On a exposé que la possession est constitue d’un élément matériel et d’un élément psychologique. En droit algérien la possession permet d’acquérir le droit de la propriété par la prescription acquisitive d’un délai de 15ans de la possession ou 10 ans en cas de la bonne foi et en vertu d’un titre ou33 ans pour les droits successorraux , comme on a parlé de la protection de la possession,et les effets de la possession. Summary : Possession is defined as actual control that is embodied in the possessor carrying out material and legal actions over something that may be possessed with the intention of ownership, and that it can be considered valid and legal unless it includes the material and moral elements together, and it is free from defects that may be tainted by it.
