    Summary: Bakhti Ben Auda is considered an icon in modern and contemporary criticism. He introduced additions and in-depth deconstructive philosophical readings in criticism, particularly in modern criticism, as the new writing is a writing that refers the creator to what is imaginary and magical according to the requirements of modernity and beyond. Through our work, we have sought to highlight the importance of the new writing through his works, “The Phenomenon of Writing in New Criticism" and "The Resonance of Modernity". We have also endeavoured to draw the features of Bakhti’s thought and how it contributed to taming the paths of the text between splitting, wounding, erasing, and discovering the plurality of the self. الملخص: يعتبر بختي بن عودة أيقونة في النقد الحديث و المعاصر قدّم إضافات و قراءات فلسفية تفكيكية معمّقة في النقد و على وجه الخصوص النقد الحداثي باعتبار الكتابة الجديدة كتابة تحيل المبدع الى ما هو خيالي و سحري بحسب ما تقتضيه الحداثة و ما بعدها فسعينا من خلال عملنا هذا إلى إبراز أهمية الكتابة الجديدة من خلال مؤلفيه "ظاهرة الكتابة في النقد الجديد و رنين الحداثة ،سعينا كذلك إلى رسم ملامح الفكر البختوي و كيف ساهم في ترويض مسارات النص بين انشطار و جرح و محو و إكتشاف لتعددية الذات..
