    Summary This research deals with the "method of negation and its significance in Surat Al-Baqarah", and aims to: Studying the method of negation and identifying its tools and methods, monitoring the verses in which the method of negation was mentioned in Surat Al-Baqarah and clarifying its true significance. The method used in this study is the descriptive analytical method. The most important results reached by the researcher are represented in: The importance of the Holy Qur’an, especially Surat Al-Baqarah, as it contained legal rulings, which led to the diversity of linguistic methods in it, including the method of negation. The surah contained the methods of explicit negation with its various tools, with the exception of the negation tool Lat, in addition to containing the methods of implicit negation. This multiplicity of methods of negation of both kinds led to a multiplicity of their connotations according to their position in the verse, and this is what was stated in the books of interpretation. مـلـخــص الـدّراسـة: يتناول هذا البحث "أسلوب النّفي ودلالته في سورة البقرة"، ويهدف إلى: دراسة أسلوب النّفي والتعرّف على أدواته وأساليبه، ورصد الآيات التي وردت فيها أسلوب النفي في سورة البقرة وبيان دلالته الحقيقية. والمنهج المتبع في هذه الدّراسة هو المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وأهمّ النتائج التي توصّلت إليها الباحثة تتمثل في: أهمية القرآن الكريم وخصوصا سورة البقرة لما تضمنته من أحكام شرعية، أدى ذلك إلى تنوع الأساليب اللغوية فيها من بينها أسلوب النّفي. فاحتوت السورة على أساليب النفي الصريح بمختلف أدواته باستثناء أداة النفي لات، إضافة إلى احتوائها على أساليب النفي الضمني، فأدّى هذا التعدّد لأساليب النّفي بنوعيه، إلى تعدد دلالاتها حسب موقعها في الآية، وهذا ما ورد في كتب التفاسير.
