(University Centre of Maghnia, 2026-09-23)
Abstract: This thesis aims to design an intelligent digital platform that assists organizations and project managers in improving project planning, scheduling, and decision-making by employing mathematical optimization models in project management. The study addresses a major challenge represented by high project costs, delays in project completion, and the difficulty of achieving an optimal balance between project duration and cost in increasingly complex project environments. The theoretical part of the study examines three major mathematical optimization models: Linear Programming (LP), Goal Programming (GP), and Fuzzy Linear Programming (FLP). It presents the mathematical formulation of each model, including variables, constraints, and objective functions. These models are then applied to a project network, and their performance is compared in terms of project duration and crashing costs. The results indicate that Linear Programming provides the optimal solution when a single objective is considered. Goal Programming enables the prioritization of multiple objectives, while Fuzzy Linear Programming achieves the best compromise between minimizing project duration and reducing costs. Consequently, FLP is considered the most appropriate approach for real-world projects characterized by multiple conflicting objectives and uncertainty. The practical part of the research proposes the development of a digital platform that integrates these mathematical models to provide intelligent decision-support tools. The platform enables users to enter project data, analyze different scenarios, and automatically identify the most suitable solutions. Furthermore, the study includes the project's mission and objectives, market analysis, project roadmap, SWOT analysis, Porter's Five Forces analysis, the Business Model Canvas (BMC), and a financial feasibility study covering project costs and revenues, with the aim of transforming the proposed platform into a viable startup project. The study concludes that integrating mathematical optimization models into a digital platform significantly enhances project management efficiency by reducing project duration, minimizing costs, and supporting decision-makers with accurate and timely solutions. This approach strengthens organizational competitiveness while supporting digital transformation and the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies in project management
