    Abstract Our study aims to clarify the role of language exercise in the exercise of language development Queen and to highlight the exercise, its types, importance, educational and pedagogical objectives, and by And addressing the sources of language development and the relationship between language exercise and language queen For this purpose we have based our study on a descriptive analytical method was relied on, where the study data were collected using a questionnaire. The result showed that language exercise is an essential means in promoting the possession of language habits of the learner, which makes him able to practice and perform in all circumstances surrounding the educational process and the lack of care for language exercises in the second generation curriculum compared to what modern methods of teaching languages call for. الملخص : تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة دور التمرين اللغوي في تنمية الملكة اللغوية ، وذلك من خلال تسليط الضوء على التمرين اللغوي وأنواعه وأهميته وأهدافه التعليمية و البيداغوجية و التطرق لمصادر تنمية الملكة اللغوية والعلاقة بين التمرين اللغوي والملكة اللغوية حيث تم الإعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث تم جمع بيانات الدراسة بإستخدام الإستبيان. حيث أشارت النتائج إلى أن التمرين اللغوي وسيلة جوهرية في ترقية امتلاك العادات اللغوية لدي المتعلم مما يجعله قادرا علي الممارسة والأداء في كل الظروف المحيطة بالعملية التعليمية وضعف العناية بالتمارين اللغوية في منهاج الجيل الثاني مقارنة مع ما تدعو إليه الطرق الحديثة لتعليمية اللغات.
