    Abstract : This study focused on the employment of folklore in the Algerian theater, Diwan al-Qaraquz, by Ould Abdel Rahman Kaki - a model - through which we tried to answer the most important problems posed, namely the reasons for the playwright's employment of heritage and the images of his presence and his role in the success and consolidation of the Algerian theater. Heritage is a form of interest from playwrights, and theater was the most artistic form embracing, expressing and accommodating heritage. الملخص: تمحورت هذه الدراسة حول توظيف التراث الشعبي في المسرح الجزائري ديوان القراقوز لولد عبد الرحمن كاكي - آ نموذجا-، وقد حاولنا من خلالها الإجابة عن أهم الإشكالات المطروحة والمتمثلة في أسباب توظيف الكاتب المسرحي للتراث وصور حضوره ودوره في نجاح وتأصيل المسرح الجزائري. فالتراث شكل محط اهتمام من كتاب المسرح، وكان المسرح أكثر الأشكال الفنية احتضانا للتراث وتعبيرا عنه وتوضيفا له، لقد حاول الكاتب المسرحي أن يخلق جسرا للتواصل بين ماضيه والمتمثل في العناصر التراثية المستلهمة، وحاضره، والمتمثل في القضايا المطروحة في الواقع، والتي يسعى الكاتب لحلها.
