    الملخص: يبحث هذا الموضوع في الجوانب التي تناولها الرحالة الغربيون - لا سيما الألمان - أثناء تقديمهم صورا متعدّدةعن الجزائر ، صور رصدت تمثلات مظاهر الحياة، والعادات والتقاليد في المجتمع الجزائري لدى الآخر. خلال أهم الفترات التاريخية التي عاشتها الجزائر، وشهدت فيها تغيرات ذات منعطفات حاسمة في تاريخ البلاد فترات سادها الحكم العثماني الذي انتهى باستيلاء القوات الفرنسية على سواحل الجزائر ليشهد توسعا كبيرا بعد ذلك. وإنطلاقا من هذه المعطيات تم تتبع الصور التي شكلها الرحالة والأدباء الأجانب عن الجزائر ، مع إستخراج أهم تمظهرات الحياة الاجتماعية، والثقافية، والأدبية التي وردت فيها. Abstract: This topic explores the aspects covered by Western travelers while presenting various images of Algeria. These images captured representations of life, customs, and traditions in Algerian society during significant historical periods the country has experienced. These periods included Ottoman rule, which ended with the French forces taking over the Algerian coast, leading to substantial expansion afterward. Based on this information, the depictions of Algeria by foreign travelers and writers were analyzed to extract the key manifestations of social, cultural, and literary life related to the country.
