Item Extraction liquide-solide du polluant Chrome (VI) par des adsorbants naturels(Département d'Hydraulique/ Institut des sciences et de la technologie, 2020-10-25) MAZARI, Sabrina; HAMOUDI, SouadRésumé Le but de notre travail porte sur l'étude de l'extraction liquide- solide du polluant chrome (VI) par l'utilisation de la bentonite de Maghnia avec ses deux types: sodique et imprégnée par le KOH. L'étude expérimentale présente l'impact de certains paramètres (l'effet de temps d'agitation, de pH, de la concentration initiale de Cr (VI), de l'ajout de sel (NaCl) à différentes concentrations et l'effet de la température) sur l'extraction de Cr (VI). Puis, dans la partie résultats et discussions on a exploité tous les résultats obtenus, de ces effets sur le rendement d'extraction et la capacité de sorption de Cr (VI) sous forme de graphes avec leurs interprétations. Enfin, ce travail est clôturé par une synthèse qui montre l'efficacité, la performance et l'importance de la bentonite (sodique et imprégnée par le KOH) sur l'extraction de l'un des métaux lourds qui est le chrome hexavalent Abstract The aim of our work is to study the solid-liquid extraction of the chromium pollutant by the use of bentonit with its two types: sodium and impregnated with KOH. The experimental study presents the impact of certain parameters (the effect of time agitation, pH, the initial concentration of Cr (VI), addition of salt (Nacl) at differences concentrations and the effect of temperature) on the extraction of Cr (VI). Then, in the results and discussions parts, we showed all the results obtained from these effects on the extraction yield and the sorption capacity of Cr (VI) in the form of graphs with their interpretations. Finally, this work is closed by a synthesis which shows the effectiveness, the performance and the importance of bentonit (sodium and impregnated by KOH) on the extraction of one of the heavy metals which is hexavalent chromium.Item Use of Sludge from the Hammam Boughrara (Maghnia) Wastewater Treatment Plant to Treat Wastewater from the EATIT-Sebdou Textile Industry(Institut des sciences et de la technologie/Départeemt d'ydraulique, 2025-07-09) DARAOUI, Abdessami; BENABDALLAH ,OussamaAbstract Textileindustriesproducelargevolumesofwastewatercharacterizedbyintensecoloration,highturbidity,and thepresenceof various organic and inorganic pollutants. Conventional treatment methods often involve high operational costs and chemical usage, whichcanhaveenvironmentalimpacts.Thisresearchexploresaninnovativeandsustainableapproachbyusingsludge collected from the Hammam Boughrara wastewater treatment plant (Maghnia) as an adsorbent to treat industrial wastewater generated by the EATIT-Sebdou textile facility.The study focuses on evaluating the physicochemical characteristics of both thesludgeandthetextilewastewater,anddeterminingtheeffectivenessofthesludgeinreducingturbidity,colorintensity,and pollutantconcentrations.Severaltreatmentparameterswereoptimized,includingpH,contacttime,sludgedosage,andmixing speed.Thesludgewastestedinrawandmodifiedformstoassessadsorptionefficiency.Resultsshowedsignificantremovalof colorandturbidityunderoptimalconditions,demonstratingthesludge'spotentialasalow-cost,eco-friendlytreatmentmaterial.
